Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions.
This plat is located on 6.8 acres on the east side of Southwest 40 Avenue, between Southwest 51 Street and Southwest 54 Street, in the City of Dania Beach. The applicant is requesting to amend two existing turning movements allowed at the approved 50-foot opening with centerline located 90 feet south of the north plat limits, by restricting it to right turns only, and a 50-foot opening located at the south plat limits to right turns in only. This request follows a plat note amendment adopted on August 24, 2021 (Agenda Item No. 59).
