Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

Motion A will convey a rectangular-shaped road easement, measuring approximately 95 feet by 12 feet, from FR Lyons Road, LLC to Broward County (Exhibit 1). The easement is located along the west side of Lyons Road, a County road, approximately 915 feet north of Sawgrass Boulevard in the City of Coconut Creek (Exhibit 2). The executed Road Easement (Exhibit 3) is required for the construction of a right turn lane.

 

Motion B will convey an irregular-shaped road easement, measuring approximately 190 feet by 12 feet, from Food for the Poor, Inc. to Broward County (Exhibit 4). The easement is located along the west side of Lyons Road, a County road, approximately 1,010 feet north of Sawgrass Boulevard in the City of Coconut Creek (Exhibit 2). The executed Road Easement (Exhibit 5) is required for the construction of a right turn lane.

 

The Resolutions and Road Easements have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
