Summary Explanation/Background
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Planning and Development Management Division has received a request to vacate a 25-foot drainage easement lying within Tract B of Jacaranda Parcel 834 Plat, as recorded in Plat Book 133, Page 28 of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida, and located at 1301 Southwest 80 Terrace in the City of Plantation. Vacating this drainage easement will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
The City of Plantation adopted Resolution No. R-12834 on October 21, 2020, granting approval of the vacation of a 25-foot drainage easement.
Review of this application by the applicable reviewing agencies indicates that there is no objection to the vacation of the subject drainage easement.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney (Exhibit 1).
