Why Action is Necessary
A. The Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") approval is required, as the recommended award amounts exceed the approval threshold level of the County Administrator for this Grant program.
B. Pursuant to the Broward County Administrative Code, Section 29.17(d)(2), Board approval is required to authorize the County Administrator to execute any Grant Award Agreements with amounts greater than $250,000.
