MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to approve and execute a First Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Collaborative Study and Subsequent Development of an Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling System ("MOU"), dividing the costs for a regional solid waste and recycling generation study and report ("Study") between the County and participating municipalities, provided (a) the County's financial contribution to the costs of the Study is no more than 50% of the total cost, and (b) the participating municipalities issue payment to the County for their collective portion of the total cost upon their execution of the First Amendment, subject to review of the First Amendment for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney; to authorize the County Administrator to approve and execute any additional amendments to the MOU as may be necessary, subject to (a) and (b) above, and further subject to review of such amendments for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney; and to authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to effectuate the MOU, as amended, including, without limitation, having the County receive, hold, and disburse the participating municipalities' portion of the Study costs.
