Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISON RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will assure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop a 172-room hotel on approximately 1.9 acres located on the south side of Marina Boulevard/State Road 84, between Southwest 9 Avenue and Southwest 14 Avenue, in the City of Fort Lauderdale.

 

The Development Review Report is attached, (see Exhibit 1).
