Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The Resolution (Exhibit 1) will convey a strip of land, measuring two feet by 200 feet, from Tamarac SS Associates, LLC to Broward County. The parcel is located along the north side of McNab Road, a County road, approximately 2,060 feet east of Pine Island Road in the City of Tamarac (Exhibit 2). The executed Warranty Deed (Exhibit 3) is required to comply with the Broward County Trafficways Plan requirements and to facilitate future roadway enhancements.

 

The Resolution and Warranty Deed have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
