Title: MOTION TO AWARD Competitively solicited open-end contract to SHI International Corp., Contract No. TEC2124576G1, Technology Catalog Solutions, under the Sourcewell Contract No. 081419-SHI, for Microsoft Corporation Licenses, Software Assurance, Microsoft 365 subscriptions, Azure Subscription Services and Microsoft general perpetual licensed products for the County's information technology infrastructure, for the Aviation Department, Enterprise Technology Services Division, and other agencies, in the estimated amount of $5,500,000 per year, and authorize the Director of Purchasing to extend this contract up to the duration of the underlying Sourcewell Contract, including any extensions thereto, not to exceed a maximum of five years.

Why Action is Necessary
Pursuant to Section 332.0075(3)(b), Florida Statutes, a governing body must approve, award, or ratify all contracts executed by or on behalf of a commercial service airport over the threshold amount provided in ? 287.017 for CATEGORY FIVE [i.e., $325,000] as a separate line item on the agenda and must provide a reasonable opportunity for public comment. Such contracts may not be approved, awarded, or ratified as part of a consent agenda.
