Summary Explanation/Background
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

Cocomar Water Control District serves the City of Coconut Creek and a portion of the City of Margate as shown in Exhibit 1. The three-person Cocomar Water Control District Advisory Board reviews budget development and implementation information developed by County staff and submits a recommended budget to the Broward County Board of County Commissioners.

The term of Jorge Mederos on the Cocomar Water Control District Advisory Board has expired. He has agreed to continue serving on the Advisory Board. It is recommended that he be reappointed pursuant to Broward County Code of Ordinances Chapter 36-14(b).
