Summary Explanation/Background

At the February 22, 2022, Regular Meeting (Item No.11), the Board took several actions to utilize both tranches of CLFRF for the provision of government services and adjusted related appropriations accordingly. This action modifies those budget appropriations with zero net change to align with actual government service costs during Fiscal Year 2022 that are being expensed to the Coronavirus Aid to Counties Fund. All costs are in compliance with the United States Department of the Treasury’s Final Rule. Associated interest and investment earnings on these funds and related appropriations are anticipated to be addressed in the Fiscal Year 2022 Third Supplemental Budget.
