Summary Explanation/Background
THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This action will correct an increase to the previously approved funding to reflect the intended budgeted funding in Agreement No. 22-CP-HIP-6886-01 between Broward County and TaskForce ("Agreement").
On June 7, 2022 (Item No. 9), the Commission approved funding in the amount of $48,691 to TaskForce for the purchase of updated equipment and accessories for street outreach services via Resolution. The Resolution did not indicate an amendment, only referenced the Agreement number. On June 14, 2022, (Item No. 7, Motion F), the Commission approved a funding increase in the Agreement that did not reflect the funds previously allocated to TaskForce. This agenda item identifies $678,465 as the correct amended amount intended for Commission approval on June 14, 2022. All other information in the previously approved Agenda Item No. 7, Motion F, remains the same.
