Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Urban Planning Division received a request to vacate two 15-foot drainage easements lying within lots 1 and 2 of Brewer Plat Two, as recorded in Official Records Book 175, Page 53 of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida. The property is generally located on the east side of University Drive between Northwest 72 Street and Northwest 70 Court in the City of Parkland. Vacating these easements will provide clear and unencumbered title to the property owner.
City of Parkland Ordinance No. 2022-006, adopted April 20, 2022, granted approval of the vacation of two 15-foot drainage easements lying within lots 1 and 2 of Brewer Plat Two as recorded in Official Records Book 175, Page 53.
This application was reviewed by the applicable agencies and there were no objections to vacate the two 15-foot drainage easements.
This vacation application has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney (Exhibit 1).
