Summary Explanation/Background

THE FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE RECORD, TAXES, AND TREASURY DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTIONS.

On September 26, 2017, the Director of Purchasing approved the System and Services Agreement to provide ongoing support and maintenance for the AgendaQuick software.

Motion A seeks to reaffirm the designation of Destiny Software, Inc. as the only reasonable source to provide continued maintenance and support services for the AgendaQuick software (Exhibit 1).

Motion B seeks to extend the terms and conditions of the existing Agreement for up to five additional one-year terms (Exhibit 2). This allows the time and resources necessary to migrate the legacy data from AgendaQuick to the Legistar Agenda Management software.
