Sec. 39-638 of Broward County Zoning Code regulates fences, hedges and walls for single family, duplexes and adult living facilities in Central County neighborhoods of the BMSD. Front yard fences are permitted in all Central County neighborhoods except Roosevelt Gardens. The regulations were first adopted in 2012; staff recommends that they be reevaluated in light of recent requests for fencing by several property owners.
