Summary Explanation/Background
THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Office of Economic and Small Business Development established a County Business Enterprise goal of 14% for this contract (Exhibit 2).

The purpose of this solicitation is to engage the services of two professional architectural firms to provide comprehensive consulting services on a continuing term basis for planning or study activities for the Construction Management Division. Each prime consultant may be tasked to provide comprehensive research, study, analysis, and related administrative services on a project-specific basis, including architectural, engineering, landscape architectural, interior design or specialty support, as required, to complete an assigned report or study activity. Work authorizations will be issued for individual projects over the five-year term.
