PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL.
Andrews Avenue is a County Road located in the City of Wilton Manors. Broward County and the City of Wilton Manors desire to perform intersection improvements to upgrade the existing span wire traffic signal system by installing mast arms and pedestrian crosswalks at the intersection of Andrews Avenue and NE 26th Street. To undertake and complete the intersection improvements, the City's water main needs to be relocated.
This item seeks Board approval of an Agreement between Broward County ("County") and the City of Wilton Manors ("City") for relocation of the City's water main at the intersection of Andrews Avenue and NE 26th Street (Exhibit 1).
