Summary Explanation/Background
COUNTY ADMINISTRATION/FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE PURCHASING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
On December 13, 2023 (Item No. 25), the Board authorized the County Administrator or designee to approve and/or execute certain agreements, contract amendments, work authorizations, advertisement of competitive solicitations, and other documents during the 2022/2023 Winter Recess that were listed on the provided Winter Recess Board Action List (provided as additional material to that item), and any other items that the County Administrator determined approval or execution is in the best interest of the County and delaying action would adversely impact the County's interests or day-to-day operations. Item 25 also directed the County Administrator to provide a report to the Board identifying any action not listed on the Winter Recess Board Action List that imposes a financial obligation in excess of $500,000.
