This item supports the Board's Healthy Community Goal of "cultivating community culture, arts, recreation, and life-long learning."

The Broward County Cultural Division ("Division") currently administers three grant award programs that provide funding to various County-based artists and cultural organizations: (1) General Operating Support; (2) Program Support; and (3) Cultural and Artistic ("C&A") Facilities Capital Support.

Section 29.15 of the Administrative Code sets forth the composition of review panels that evaluate the applications for these grant award programs.
