Summary Explanation/Background
A. The Broward Sheriff's Office supports this LETF request for the Zencity at Carahsoft. Zencity will provide a recurring survey measuring resident safety and trust in law enforcement agencies, with ongoing scores always viewable from a live dashboard and results aggregated into a report each quarter. This includes an aggregated report each month. The results will gage community perceptions through satisfaction surveys in an effort to improve services that BSO provides to the community.
B. The Broward Sheriff's Office supports this LETF request for the LFA Auditorium Technology Refurbishment. The various technology in the Lynn Futch Auditorium on the 5th Floor of the BSO Public Safety Building has become obsolete and cannot sustain the data exchange demands of virtual meetings and multi-media presentations. This project will bring the technology and associated technology equipment up to current enterprise standards. This will provide the Sheriff, BSO staff, and community users of the LFA Auditorium, such as the Social Justice Task Force, with state of the art cutting edge technological capabilities for the purposes of virtual meetings and multi-media presentations.
