Summary Explanation/Background
On April 17, 2007 (Item No. 8), the Board of County Commissioners approved the Facility Use Agreement between the County and the Department of Health. On June 10, 2014 (Item No. 5), the Board of County Commissioners approved the First Amendment to the Facility Use Agreement to update the list of County-owned facilities occupied by the Department of Health and each party’s maintenance and repair obligation. On March 1, 2016 (Item No. 4), the Board of County Commissioners approved the Second Amendment to the Facility Use Agreement to extend the term of the Agreement to April 16, 2021, with two automatic two-year renewals, and to update the County’s maintenance obligation.
The Department of Health is no longer providing services at the North Regional Health Center. This Third Amendment to the Facility Use Agreement will remove the North Regional Health Center from the list of County-owned facilities occupied by the Department of Health under the Facility Use Agreement.
The Third Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney.
