Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The proposed Resolution allows the County to accept a ten-foot wide nonexclusive and perpetual utility easement along the east property line that widens to the 26-foot section at the northeast corner, laying over, across, under, and through a portion of Parcel "A", "Raising Cane's Pompano Beach", according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 183, Page 540, of the Official Records of Broward County. This item relates to new utilities constructed by a land developer and transferred to Broward County located within the Water and Wastewater Services District 2 potable water and sanitary sewer service area under Utility Connection Permit BCUCP-22-009. This easement is required for Broward County to maintain the new utilities serving the public in perpetuity.

The Resolution and utility easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
