Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The proposed Resolution allows the County to accept an approximately 20-foot wide nonexclusive and perpetual utility easement located on a portion of parcels B and C of C & S Subdivision, according to the Plat as recorded in Plat Book 89, Page 40, of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida. This item relates to new utilities constructed by a land developer within the Water and Wastewater Services District 3A potable water and sanitary sewer service area under Utility Connection Permit BCUCP 20-014 and transferred to Broward County. This easement is required for Broward County to maintain the new utilities serving the public in perpetuity.
The Resolution and utility easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
