Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

 

The proposed Resolution allows the County to accept a 25-foot-wide utility easement located on a portion of parcel B, Seneca Plat, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 165, Page 9, of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida. This item relates to new utilities constructed by a land developer within the Water and Wastewater Services District 3BC potable water and sanitary sewer service area under Utility Connection Permit BCUCP-22-007 and transferred to Broward County. This easement is required for Broward County to maintain the new utilities serving the public in perpetuity.

 

The Resolution and utility easement have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney’s Office.
