Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The proposed Resolutions (Exhibits 1-6) allow the County to accept six utility easements located at 3540 NW 34th Street, 3431 NW 50th Ave, 5001 NW 34th Street, 5101 NW 34th Street, 5100 NW 35th Street, and 3430 NW 52nd Street within the City of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida on a portion of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 24, township 49 south, range 41 East as recorded in plat book 104, page 46, of the public records of Broward County, Florida.
This item relates to the Utility Analysis Zone (UAZ) 122 utility construction project (local utility improvement project) within Water and Wastewater Services District 1 potable water and sanitary sewer service area. These easements are required so that Broward County can maintain the public water and sewer mains and associated appurtenances serving the public in perpetuity.
The Resolutions and utility easements have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
