Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

The applicant is requesting approval of a plat application to develop 50 townhouse units on approximately 6.7 acres located on the south side of Pines Boulevard, between Southwest 184th Avenue and Southwest 186th Avenue, in the City of Pembroke Pines.

 

The applicant proposes fewer than 100 additional units. Therefore, the development shown on this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.

The Development Review Report is attached (Exhibit 1).
