Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The item relates to activities in the Broward Municipal Services District (BMSD), formerly known as Unincorporated Broward County. The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is the governing body of the BMSD and provides municipal services to the area.

The Resolution (Exhibit 1) will grant Broward County a Road Easement from CDH PLANNING LLC, on a portion of real property located at the northeast corner of NW 9th Street and NW 28th Terrace in the Broward Municipal Services District (refer to Exhibit 2 for the Location Map). The executed Road Easement (Exhibit 3) is required to provide adequate sight distance at the intersection.

The Resolution and Road Easement have been reviewed and approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney.
