Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/REAL PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

KCI Technologies INC the engineering / consultant for the owner developer BREF Andrew's LLC., requested that Broward County vacate the 75-foot-wide storm water Drainage Easement and 15-foot-wide Drainage Easement both lying within Parcel A of Andrews Premier Business Park Plat to allow construction of a new building on the property.

Both easements are currently being used by the County.

This easement will provide a solution to move the current drainage from N. Andrews Avenue to the O'Connor's Lake west of the Andrews Premier Business Park at no cost to the County.

Once this easement is dedicated and the proposed pipe system is built by the owner of Andrews Premier Business Park, and it is inspected and accepted by the County. The County will vacate the prior existing 15-foot and 75-foot drainage easements.

All easement documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
