Summary Explanation/Background

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The proposed resolutions allow the County to accept 20-foot to 30-foot wide nonexclusive and perpetual utility easements on a portion of parcel “A”, Pompano Crossing, as recorded in Plat Book 183, page 234, of the Public Records of Broward County. This item relates to new utilities constructed by a land developer within the Water and Wastewater Services District 2 potable water and sanitary sewer service area under Utility Connection Permit BCUCP-19-003.

These easements are required for Broward County to maintain the new utilities serving the public in perpetuity.
