A. SB 2502 - COMMISSIONER GELLER
ACTION: (T-10:16 AM) Commissioner Geller discussed the implications of Senate Bill 2502 in the Legislature. In addition, Commissioner Geller requested that the County Attorney’s Office review any potential instances of the use of resources for initiatives supporting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion inconsistent with the law and report any such findings to the Board to assess compliance after the summer recess. In response to Commissioner Geller, County Attorney Andrew J. Meyers advised that the County Attorney’s Office will bring recommendations back to the Board at the first Commission meeting in August. (Refer to minutes for full discussion.)
