In addition, Commissioner Rich noted that the Census number are down, and commented that it doesn’t look as though the federal government is willing to provide additional funding to extend the deadline for the 2020 Census. Further, Commissioner Rich noted that the county is leading a countywide campaign encouraging all employers to dedicate 10-15 minutes for their employees to complete the 2020 Census, and that the business community is lending their support in the county’s efforts as well.
