Summary Explanation/Background
THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
This item supports the Board's Goal of "Ensuring accessible, seamlessly integrated investments in renewable energy, sustainable practices, manufacturing, resilient infrastructure, and environmental protection".
The Office of Economic and Small Business Development (OESBD) has assigned no CBE Goal to this solicitation, based on grant funding (Exhibit 2).
The purpose of this solicitation is to engage the services of a qualified firm to provide consultant services for tidal flood resiliency and mitigation at Hollywood North Beach Park. The firm will be required to provide comprehensive planning, design, permitting, construction contract administration services, and grant management services for the hardening of the seawalls.
