Summary Explanation/Background

THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions which will ensure compliance with the standards and requirements of Chapter 5, Article IX of the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

 

This plat is located on 0.8 acres on the southeast corner of Powerline Road and Northwest 16 Street, in the City of Pompano Beach. The applicant is proposing to shift the east line of a 45 feet of right-of-way dedication to the west by six  feet, thereby amending the requirement of the right-of-way dedication condition to: “Thirty-nine (39) feet of right-of-way to comply with the Broward County Trafficways Plan on Powerline Road, a 144-foot arterial.”
