Summary Explanation/Background
THE RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT AND THE URBAN PLANNING DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION, subject to staff recommendations and conditions.
This plat is located on 0.3 acre on the east side of Northwest 1st Terrace, between Northwest 3rd Court and Northwest 5th Street, in the City of Deerfield Beach. The plat is currently restricted to 14,328 square feet of church use. The applicant is requesting to amend the note on the face of the plat to allow for a duplex.
The applicant proposes fewer than 100 additional units. Therefore, the development shown on this plat is not subject to Policy 2.16.2 of the Broward County Land Use Plan.
