Summary Explanation/Background
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/WATER AND WASTEWATER ENGINEERING DIVISION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The proposed Resolutions (Exhibits 1-5) allow the County to accept five utility easements located at 3370 NW 47th Terrace, 149 NW 51st Avenue, 3281 NW 51st Avenue, 3445 NW 51st Avenue, and 5100 NW 35th Street within the City of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, on a portion of the southeast one-quarter of the southwest one-quarter of section 24, township 49 south of the Official Records of Broward County, Florida.
This item relates to the Utility Analysis Zone (UAZ) 122 utility construction project (local utility improvement project) within Water and Wastewater Services District 1 potable water and sanitary sewer service area. These easements are required so that Broward County can maintain the public water and sewer mains and associated appurtenances serving the public in perpetuity.
The Resolutions and utility easements have been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
