Why Action is Necessary
Pursuant to Section 21.53 of the Broward County Administrative Code, contracts that exceed a term of five years require Board approval. Board approval is also required to designate the Director of the Animal Care Division to execute Transfer Partner Agreements on behalf of the County.

What Action Accomplishes
Authorizes the Animal Care Division to enter into agreements with Transfer Partners using the approved template.
