MOTION TO APPROVE First Amendment to System and Services Agreement between Broward County and Destiny Software, Inc., for AgendaQuick software maintenance and support services, to extend the Agreement for up to five additional one-year terms, through September 30, 2027, to be exercised by the Director of Purchasing, and increasing the total not-to-exceed amount by $29,500 to $65,200; and authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute same.

Why Action is Necessary
Motion A. In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.25, Sole Source Procurement, Board approval is required for awards exceeding the Director of Purchasing's authority.
Motion B. In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.53, the Board is required to approve all awards that extend for more than five years.
What Action Accomplishes
Motion A: Reaffirms only reasonable source designation of Destiny Software, Inc. as the only reasonable source to provide continued maintenance and support services for the AgendaQuick software.
Motion B: Extends the term of the Agreement for up to five additional one-year terms and increases the total not-to-exceed amount by $29,500.
