A. MOTION TO AUTHORIZE County Administrator to execute Grant Agreement between the Florida Network of Children's Advocacy Centers, Inc., ("FNCAC") and Broward County, subject to review for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney, in the amount of $9,789, effective upon full execution through June 30, 2023, to fund medical consultations and examinations for child victims of abuse and neglect; authorize the County Administrator to execute amendments to the Agreement that do not impose additional financial obligations on the County, subject to review for legal sufficiency by the Office of the County Attorney; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement the Agreement.

B. MOTION TO ADOPT budget Resolution within the Child Advocacy Trust Fund to appropriate revenue from FNCAC in the amount of $9,789 for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 to fund medical consultations and examinations for child victims of abuse and neglect.

Why Action is Necessary
A. and B. Section 20.31(b)(3), Broward County Administrative Code, requires that the Broward County Board of County Commissioners ("Commission") approves all state and federal grant agreements.
Section 129.06(2)(d), Florida Statutes, requires a budget resolution to recognize revenue.
What Action Accomplishes
Approval of Motions A and B allows for the provision of medical consultations and examinations to child victims of abuse and neglect.
