THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

Solid Waste and Recycling Services operates the Broward County Landfill (BCL), located in unincorporated Broward County, east of U.S. 27 and north of Sheridan Street in the southwestern portion of the County. The BCL currently accepts Class III waste from customers including bulk trash, construction and demolition debris (C&D), yard waste, waste tires, and discarded mobile homes and boats generated in Broward County.
