Title: MOTION TO APPROVE Agreement between Broward County and Broward Behavioral Health Coalition, Inc. ("BBHC") in the amount of $925,650, effective retroactively from September 30, 2019, with three additional renewal terms, the first of which begins September 30, 2020, to enhance the delivery of services to youth in the One Community Partnership 3 ("OCP3") program who experience serious emotional disturbance ("SED") and those with early signs and symptoms of serious mental illness ("SMI"); authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Agreement; and authorize the County Administrator to take all necessary administrative and budgetary actions to implement the Agreement.

THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

This action supports the Commission value of "approaching human services collaboratively and compassionately, with special emphasis on the most vulnerable" and the goal to "effectively advocate for and acquire municipal, state and federal financial support to equitably address health and human services needs of the entire community, through a truly coordinated system of care."
