Summary Explanation/Background
On October 6, 2020, the Board will consider enactment of an Ordinance establishing regulations for persons providing locksmithing services in Broward County ("Ordinance"). The proposed Ordinance requires that individuals providing locksmithing services obtain a locksmith license or locksmith apprentice license and that locksmithing businesses obtain registration certificates.
