Summary Explanation/Background
THE PURCHASING DIVISION AND THE AVIATION DEPARTMENT RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.
The Office of Economic and Small Business Development established a County Business Enterprise participation goal of 25% for all groups (Exhibit 2).
The purpose of this solicitation is to engage the services of up to three different, qualified contractors to provide professional security guard services at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the North Perry Airport. Each contract will have a different scope of services, which will be separated as follows: Contract 1 - Terminal Inspections at FLL; Contract 2 - Airside and Landside Operations at FLL; and Contract 3 - Security Guard Services at North Perry Airport.
In accordance with the Broward County Administrative Code, Section 19.211.a.3, the project is subject to the Workforce Investment Program.
