Board of County Commissioners' approval is required when the approved and negotiated GMP exceeds the stipulated preliminary Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) established for the project, and to delegate authority to the County Administrator to execute agreements on its behalf.

Increases approved GMP for the new Nancy J. Cotterman Center and authorizes County Administrator to take actions on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners while the Board of County Commissioners is not in session.

THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT DIVISION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ABOVE MOTION.

The Public Works Department and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development established a 24% Community Business Enterprise (CBE) participation goal for this project.
