Board of County Commissioners' approval is required to grant an interest in real property pursuant to Broward County Administrative Code, Section 6.23.

 

What Action Accomplishes

Provides Florida Power & Light Company with a perpetual, non-exclusive utility easement to provide electricity to power two new hangar buildings at North Perry Airport.

Summary Explanation/Background

Broward County Aviation Department requested that the County grant Florida Power & Light Company a perpetual, non-exclusive underground and overhead utility easement to direct power from an existing transformer near the southeast corner of the North Perry Airport to a new transformer located at 7201 South Airport Road in Pembroke Pines, in order to provide electricity to power the two new hangar buildings.

 

All documents have been reviewed and approved as to form by the Office of the County Attorney.
