Grainger, Inc., under the State of Florida Alternate Contract Source Agreement No. 31160000-20-NASPO-ACS for Facilities Maintenance, Repair, and Operations and Industrial Supplies; State of Oregon Master Agreement No. 8496; for the procurement of industrial and commercial supplies and equipment, for various Broward County agencies, in the estimated amount of $1,643,000 for the current contract term of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023, with no renewals.

Why Action is Necessary
In accordance with the Broward County Procurement Code, Section 21.47.a, Award and Execution Authority, Board approval is required for awards exceeding $500,000, inclusive of the value of any renewals or extensions provided for in the contract.
What Action Accomplishes
Provides for the opportunity to acquire industrial and commercial supplies and equipment purchased repetitively or on an emergency basis, and a means for inventory reduction through expeditious shipment of a variety of products; aggregation; and purchasing of a variety of products from the same vendor with a single order.
