Why Action is Necessary
Section 31/2-13(a) of the Broward County Code of Ordinances provides the Board of County Commissioners to immediately issue or direct the County Administrator to issue one or more temporary Certificates, not to exceed 90 days.
What Action Accomplishes
Allows the County Administrator to issue a temporary Certificate to RG Ambulance Service, Inc., d/b/a Century Ambulance Service, to avoid service interruptions and continue emergency backup ambulance services.
